KIEV, Feb. 11 – The Trade Union of Atomic Energy and Industry Workers has appealed to the Ministry of Finance and the National Commission for Energy Regulation asking that they establish an economically justified tariff for electricity for EnergoAtom.

The decision was adopted by the resolution of the second plenum of the trade union central committee.

The resolution notes that the establishment of an economically justified tariff for EnergoAtom will ensure the sustainable development of the company, allow the full implementation of programs to extend the resources of the power units of nuclear power plants, improve the safety of using nuclear plants, complete blocks Nos. 3 and 4 of Khmelnytsky Nuclear Power Plant, and implement the terms of the collective agreement signed between the trade union committee and the company administration.
