KIEV, Feb. 8 - Ukraine plans to attract UAH 4.3 billion in private investment for the construction of infrastructure facilities for the finals of the EuroBasket 2015 European Basketball championship, Deputy Prime Minister Oleksandr Vilkul said.
"The difference of EuroBasket 2015 from Euro 2012 is that the main burden on the creation of the necessary infrastructure is placed on private investors on the terms of a public-private partnership. The government, while fulfilling the tasks set by the Ukrainian president, is creating favorable conditions for attracting international and domestic investors," he said at a meeting of the coordinating committee on preparations for EuroBasket 2015.
