KIEV, Feb. 7 – Solarenergo LLC has completed the construction of a solar power plant with an installed capacity of 9.806 MW in Skadovsk district of Kherson region, the Dilova Stolytsia (Business Capital) reported.
"The plan is to increase the plant's capacity from 9.8 MW to 27 MW. Now we are in talks with banks, investors, equipment manufacturers, seeking new sites for construction," said company CEO Serhiy Nevilko.
The solar plant, built on salt marshes near Lake Ustrychne, is the first solar power plant in Kherson region. Solarenergo invested about EUR 27 million in the project, and its payback period is 6-7 years.
