KIEV, Feb. 4 – The Income and Tax Ministry proposes that new excise stamps with three-level counterfeit-proof features be introduced with a simultaneous rise in prices of existing excise stamps, the ministry said in a statement on Monday.

According to the statement, the price of an excise stamp is to be increased by 2-2-5 times.

"The Income and Tax Ministry suggests an increase in the price of excise stamps, as it has not been increased since 2008, while producers have raised prices of their goods by more than several times since then," reads the statement.
