KIEV, Feb. 4 –The Gas Ukraine group of companies said it is agreeing on the purchase of an oil refinery in Ukraine and stakes in oil extracting and refining assets in other countries.

"Today talks on the acquisition of an oil refinery in Ukraine and entering oil refining and oil extracting projects outside the country are being held. Depending of the outcome of the talks, the company plans to approve a strategy for its development for the next seven years," the group announced.
