KIEV, Feb. 1 – The American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine has called on Parliament to cancel a law on licensing imports of medicine (No. 5038-UI), which will take effect from March 1.

"Despite the fact that we have one month until the law takes effect, as of today neither the competent agency for licensing imports nor draft license conditions have been approved," reads a statement by the Chamber.

The Chamber said that neither the concept draft license conditions proposed by the Health Ministry nor alternative concepts are in line with law No. 5038-UI in realistic conditions.
