DAVOS, Jan. 25 – The further refusal of the state to support the metal sector could result in its collapse, as the present crisis is worse than the 2008 crisis, Industrial Union of Donbas (ISD) Chairman Serhiy Taruta said.

"The state should provide aid and take some measures, as the crisis is not weaker, it is stronger than it was in 2008. Unfortunately, the government and president has not approved any anti-crisis measures," the co-owner of ISD told reporters in Zurich where he arrived to take part in the World Economic Forum in Davos.
