KIEV, Jan. 10 – The number of employees of the Income and Tax Ministry will fall by 5,800 after the merger of the Tax and Customs Services into a single structure, reports Income and Tax Minister Oleksandr Klymenko.

The report says that the number of employees of the new ministry was approved at a cabinet meeting on January 9.

He said that at present, the tax and customs services jointly have 71,200 employees. After the reorganization, the body will have 65,400 employees.
