KIEV, Dec. 27 - Deputy National Bank of Ukraine Governor Ihor Sorkin has been appointed acting NBU governor, a source in the central bank has reported.

"Sorkin has been appointed acting NBU governor. This does not mean that he will be appointed NBU governor to replace [Serhiy] Arbuzov [who has been appointed Ukraine’s first deputy prime minister]," he said.
