KIEV, Dec. 27 – Ukraine and Russia may hold a meeting of the inter-parliamentary committee on cooperation in high-tech industries in Dnipropetrovsk in the coming months.
"We have agreed with the leadership of the previous Verkhovna Rada to hold a meeting of the bilateral inter-parliamentary commission in Dnipropetrovsk in the coming months, similar to the one we had a few months ago in Voronezh. At the meeting of the commission, we would like to focus on the development of cooperation in high-tech industries, in particular cooperation in the space industry and the aviation industry," the chairman of the Russian State Duma Committee for CIS Affairs, Leonid Slutsky, said at a meeting with Prime Minister Mykola Azarov in Kiev on Tuesday.
He expressed the hope that this initiative would be supported by members of the Verkhovna Rada of the 7th convocation.
