KIEV, Oct. 18 ??“ The number of mobile phone users in Ukraine by the end of 2005 may top 25 million people, Vasyl Gandabura, the deputy transport and communications minister, said in a statement at the opening ceremony of the 13th international specialized exhibition Information Technologies and Communication 2005, according to a report carried by Interfax-Ukraine.

He forecasts that by the end of the year, the number of Internet users will reach six million people, while the number of fixed phone users will exceed 13 million people.
