KIEV, Dec. 21 – Ukraine's gross foreign debt in January-September 2012 grew by 4.9%, or $6.21 billion, to $132.446 billion, which was 75.3% of GDP, according to the National Bank of Ukraine.
As the NBU said in a posting on its Web site, Ukraine's gross foreign debt in the third quarter of 2012 alone rose by 2.7%, or $3.491 billion.
As was reported, the ratio of Ukraine's gross foreign debt to GDP as of the beginning of 2012 was 76.4%, whereas it was 74.1% as of the end of June 2012.
