KIEV, Dec. 21 - Hyundai Company has offered its apologies to Ukrainian passengers for discomfort during the use of South Korean high-speed trains and the company has started working on the elimination of malfunctions, which, first of all, are linked to bad weather, the Ukrainian Infrastructure Ministry has reported, referring to a letter of the company sent to Ukrzaliznytsia and Ukrainian High-Speed Railway Company.

The ministry said that today the program on the preparation of Hyundai trains for winter conditions has been introduced and over the past two days the number of malfunctions has been reduced.

Hyundai also increases the number of specialists: this week seven specialists will join the servicing team. In addition, Hyundai Rotem Company plans to hire more Ukrainian specialists for a servicing team at the Darnytsia depot.
