KIEV, Dec. 14 – The Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) has urged the Ukrainian government to clamp down on the illegal activity of the Web site Ex.ua and the Kiev-based Petrivka book and optical media market that distribute unauthorized media content and products in violation of intellectual property rights, according to the USTR's Special 301 Review of Notorious Markets, published on Thursday.

The USTR published a list of distributors of unauthorized content around the globe, which includes, among others, the Web site Ex.ua and the Petrivka market.

Ex.ua has already been on the USTR's lists as a Web site that offers unauthorized downloading and streaming of various content.
