KIEV, Dec. 13 - Eco-Optima has been forced to reconsider the construction of a wind farm in Starosambir district (Lviv region) because of the bankruptcy of Germany's Fuhrlander AG, a wind turbine supplier, Eco-Optima Deputy Director Yaroslav Shpak told Interfax-Ukraine.
"Our project foresaw the installation of Fuhrlander wind turbines, but we have been forced to change them to Vestas turbines. The problem is that Fuhrlander has filed for bankruptcy, and this is not suitable for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, which is financing the project," he said.
