BANGALORE, Dec. 12 – Ukraine is interested in more active cooperation with India in the energy sector, President Viktor Yanukovych said.

"We are determined to intensify cooperation with India in the energy sphere. Ukrainian companies have resources to provide Indian nuclear power plants, heat power plants, and hydro power plants with necessary equipment, as well as help to modernize the existing energy facilities," he said at the Indian-Ukrainian Business Forum in Bangalore on Wednesday.
