KIEV, Dec. 6 – Exports of Ukrainian poultry products to the European Union could start in two or three months, Agricultural Policy and Food Minister Mykola Prysiazhniuk said.
"Actually, with the observation of all of bureaucratic requirements set by the EU, real exports could be seen in two or three months after the vote [December 4, 2012]," said Prysiazhniuk.
On December 4, at a meeting of the Standing Committee on the Food Chain and Animal Health (SCOFCAH) of the European Commission's Directorate General for Health and Consumers, a technical vote was taken on a draft instruction on the inclusion of Ukraine on the list of third countries that have the right to import poultry products to the EU.
