KIEV, Dec. 5 – The Ukrainian Justice Ministry is planning to file a cassation appeal against a decision by Kiev's Economic Court of Appeals upholding a decision on the payment by the Cabinet of Ministers of the debt of the United Energy Systems of Ukraine (UESU) Corporation to the Russian Defense Ministry.

"Kiev's Economic Court of Appeals, with its ruling of December 3, in case No. 5011-61/11340-2012, rejected the appeals, while the ruling of the Economic Court of Kiev of September 19 was left unchanged. Pursuant to respective government orders, the Justice Ministry will take measures set forth in Section XII-1 of the Economic Procedural Code of Ukraine (the revision of court rulings through cassation)," the ministry said on Wednesday.
