KIEV, Dec. 3 – Grain exports from Ukraine since the start of the July 2012 – June 2013 agricultural year as of December 3 have come to 11.99 million tons, according to the Agricultural Policy and Food Ministry.
The report says that the country exported 5.5 million tons of wheat, including 4.66 million tons of bread wheat, 4.58 million tons of corn and 1.76 million tons of barley.
The ministry said that as of December 3 1.07 million tons of grain was stored at portside elevators (including 175,000 tons of wheat), and 256,000 tons was loaded on ships (including 103,000 tons of wheat).
