KIEV, Nov. 29 - Ecology and Natural Resources Minister Eduard Stavytsky and Moldovan Environment Minister Gheorghe Salaru have signed a Treaty on Cooperation on the Conservation and Sustainable Development of the Dniester River Basin.

The signing ceremony took place on November 29 in the Italian parliament during a meeting of the parties to the Convention on the Protection and Use of Transboundary Watercourses and International Lakes (Water Convention) of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE).
