KIEV, Nov. 16 - Metinvest, Ukraine's largest mining and metallurgical holding, is showing interest in the acquisition of Slovakia-based U.S. Steel Kosice, according to the Slovak Hospodarske noviny (HN) media outlet.

Among major bidders for the steel mill are Russia's Evraz and Ukraine's Metinvest, HN reported.

As HN wrote, Metinvest's representatives visited U.S. Steel Kosice in June 2012.
