KIEV, Nov. 15 – Vitaliy Khomutynnyk, the head of Parliament's committee for finance, banking, tax and customs policy, predicts Parliament on November 20 will pass draft amendments (Bill No. 10687) to the Tax Code at second reading, which will boost excise taxes on fuel, which will be denominated in hryvnias, and on cigarettes from January 1, 2013.

"I think on November 20, we'll take bill No. 10687, which foresees the indexing of tax rates," he said during an international conference on tax legislation on Thursday.
