KIEV, Nov. 12 - Ukraine's State Geology and Mineral Resources Service is to put up for sale at an auction on December 11 subsoil use licenses for six oil and gas sections in Sumy, Poltava and Luhansk regions.
The state geology service said it will be selling licenses for the Bilychivska section (Poltava region, starting price UAH 3.905 million, bid deposit UAH 781,000, the price of geological information is fixed at UAH 390,000), the Losyschynska section (Sumy region, starting price UAH 2.365 million, bid deposit UAH 473,000 and the price of geological information is fixed at UAH 141,000) and the Surmachivska section (Sumy region, UAH 1.039 million, UAH 208,000 and UAH 191,000 respectively).
In addition, the service will auction off three sections with unconventional hydrocarbon reserves in the Luhansk region: the Popasnianska field (central basin gas, starting price UAH 32.481 million, bid deposit UAH 6.496 million), the Novosvitlivska field (coal bed methane, no starting price and bid deposit, the price of geological information is fixed at UAH 965,000) and the Seleznivska field area (coal bed methane, no starting price and bid deposit, the price of geological information is fixed at UAH 1.774 million).
