KIEV, Nov. 6 – Parliament has supported the introduction of excise tax on raw coal benzene and methanol (methyl alcohol) of EUR 250 and EUR 400 per ton, respectively, if they are used as motor fuel components.

A total of 252 lawmakers on Tuesday voted for draft bill No. 11395 at first reading, which amends the Tax Code regarding excise tax rates on the substances used as motor fuel components.
