KIEV, Nov. 1 - ArcelorMittal Kryviy Rih, the largest mining and metal company in Ukraine, is one of the most injury-risky companies in the region, according to report by Prosecutor General’s Office in Dnipropetrovsk.
Other companies mentioned in the report include Dzerzhynsky Steel Works, Marhanets mining and beneficiation plant, Kryvy Rih Steel Works, Interpipe Nyzhniodniprovsky Pipe Plant and Palvohradvuhillia.
Overall, there were 652 accidents were registered in the region over the first nine months of 2012, up 6.3% on the year from 611 accidents reported in 2011, according to the report.
