KIEV, Oct. 29 – The Economic Development and Trade Ministry has proposed doubling the fully paid import duties for almost 7,400 subcategories of goods, which is 68% of the entire range of goods.

An analysis of the regulatory impact of the document says that the bill was drawn up to ensure the authenticity of declarations of information on the origin of goods and the registration of the goods in the foreign trade statistics, and to increase the revenues of the national budget from the payment of import duties.
