KIEV, Oct. 26 – Ukraine's total state direct and guaranteed debt expanded by 0.8%, or $635.3 million, in September, to $61.54 billion, the Finance Ministry reported on Friday.

Total state debt in January-September 2012 grew by 4.8%, or $2.81 billion.

"In September 2012 the sum of Ukraine's public and guaranteed debt grew by UAH 4.513 billion in the hryvnia equivalent in general due to the additional issue of government foreign loan bonds," reads the report.
