Five parties likely to sit in Rada after election, says betting firm
Journal Staff Report

KIEV, Oct. 23 – The representation of five parties in the new Parliament, particularly the Regions Party, Batkivschyna, UDAR, the Communist Party and Svoboda, is the most likely outcome of the elections scheduled for October 28, according to Europe's betting firm bwin Interactive Entertainment AG (Vienna).

According to the firm's Web site, the odds on five parties' winning seats in parliament are 1.9 to 1, four parties - 2.3 to 1, and six parties - 5 to 1.

At the same time, Svoboda has more chance of getting into Parliament than the Ukraine-Forward! Party. The odds on Oleh Tiahnybok's party's collecting over 4.5% of the vote are 1.67 to 1, and Natalia Korolevska's party - 3.2 to 1. The odds on the two parties' getting less than 4.5% of the vote are 2.07 to 1 and 1.3 to 1 respectively.
