ILLICHIVSK, Oct. 19 - Cargill and the Ukrainian state enterprise Illichivsk Maritime Merchandise Port have signed a protocol of intent concerning the building at the port of a complex for the storage and transshipment of grain and oilseed with handling capacity of 4.5 million tons a year and costing about $80-$90 million.
Port Chief Oleksandr Hrihorashenko said on Friday that the final construction costs will become evident after a feasibility study is completed.
He could not provide a construction timeframe, saying that would be known after a concession tender is conducted.
