KIEV, Oct. 18 - The September consumer confidence index was 81.8, which is 4.8 points lower than in August, reads a monthly survey of GfK Ukraine.

"The deterioration was caused by all the index components, apart from the Index of Propensity to Consume," reads a company report.

The company said that expectations regarding changes in unemployment increased in September: the respective index is 127.4 which 5.7 points higher than in August.
