KIEV, Oct. 17 – The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development is ready to invest about EUR 1 billion a year in the implementation of projects in Ukraine if the investment climate in the country is improved, EBRD Director in Ukraine Andre Kuusvek said.
"The EBRD has invested over EUR 8 billion in the country's economy within 320 projects. It's possible to preserve the funding at EUR 1 billion annually only if the investment climate is improved and reforms are consistently implemented," he said at a meeting of the Committee on Economic Reforms in Kiev on Wednesday.
