KIEV, Oct. 16 – Azot (Cherkasy), part of Dmytro Firtash’s Ostchem, has stopped facility 1 of the ammonia A-3 workshop for a two-month repair, the holding reported.

Some UAH 40 million will be invested in the repair of the workshop, and after the upgrade, gas consumption will fall by 7-8%, to 1,000 cubic meters (per ton of ammonia).

In addition, after the modernization, the workshop will be able to produce 15% more steam without additional expenses on energy.
