KIEV, Oct. 11 – The U.S. Department of Agriculture has improved its forecast for the production of sunflower oil in Ukraine in the current marketing year (MY, September 2012 through August 2013) by 1.9%, or by 67,000 tons from its September forecast, to 3.49 million tons.

As the department said on its Web site, the forecast for sunflower oil exports from Ukraine in the 2012/2013 marketing year stands at 3.2 million tons.
