KIEV, Oct. 10 – Dniprospetsstal (Zaporizhia) could dismiss 25% of its staff by December 1 this year due to a lack of orders and problems with VAT refunds.

According to the company, to avoid a complete stop in the enterprise, the plant management decided to bring the staff numbers in line with its current output capacity.

"By December 1, the number of laid-off employees could amount to 25% of the total staff of the enterprise," reads a company release.

As of October 4, 2012 no staff had been laid off.
