Journal Staff Report

KIEV, Oct. 8 – The government of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea has signed an agreement with the European Centre for International Relations (the Czech Republic) on the implementation of a water supply and drainage investment project in eastern Crimea, the Council of Ministers of Crimea reported.

A corresponding agreement was signed by the parties at the third International Black Sea Economic Forum 2012 in Yalta (Crimea) on October 4.

"Utilities networks are worn out in this region. The investor is ready to fund the project under the guarantees of insurance companies operating in the Czech Republic. This project has been almost worked out," Crimean Prime Minister Anatoliy Mohyliov said at a briefing.

According to the report, the Council of Ministers of Crimea at the third International Black Sea Economic Forum 2012 in Yalta also signed an agreement on cooperation with Sher Technologies LLC (Virginia, the United States) in the field of solid household waste processing.
