KIEV, Oct. 8 – The interagency commission for international trade, under an initiative of Karpatnaftokhim LLC (Kalush, Ivano-Frankivsk region), has launched an antidumping investigation into imports of suspension polyvinylchloride production (PVC-S) to Ukraine from the United States, reads a report of the commission published in the Uriadovy Kurier newspaper.

According to the report, Karpatnaftokhim said in its claim that over the period under investigation, from the third quarter of 2011 to the second quarter of 2012, PVC from the United States was imported to Ukraine at prices that were lower than the price on the U.S. market, which gives grounds to consider the imports as a case of dumping.
