KIEV, Oct. 3 – Russia's Gazprombank is interested in Ukrainian investment projects for the development of a terminal for receiving and regasifying liquefied natural gas and the completion of the City Ring Road around Kiev, Ukraine’s State Agency for Investment and National Projects said in a statement.
"During private meetings, a representative of Gazprombank expressed special interest in the LNG Terminal and Ring Road projects. Options for their financing will be discussed with bank representatives in the near future," the statement said, quoting the director of agency's department for international partnerships, Ihor Zhovkva, after the presentation of Ukrainian investment opportunities in Moscow on October 2.
Zhovkva said that Ukraine plans to receive Azerbaijani LNG through the terminal. He added that there are options for partnership with other countries that are traditional LNG suppliers.
