MOSCOW, Sept. 28 - Higher Russian gas exports in September lifted output by Gazprom and even transit across Ukraine.

Russia boosted gas exports to non-CIS countries 14% or 1. 3 billion cubic meters in September this year compared with September 2011 to 10.8 bcm, according to preliminary data from the Central Dispatching Department of the Fuel and Energy Complex (CDU TEK).

Exports recovered for the second month in a row -they had grown by a symbolic 500 mcm in August - but fell in January-September as a whole, by 7.4% or 8.2 bcm to 103.33 bcm.
