KIEV, Sept. 27 - Ukraine will start building a nuclear fuel factory in October, Alexander Ivanov, the chief representative of Russian nuclear fuel corporation TVEL in Ukraine, told reporters in Kiev.
"The ground-breaking ceremony takes place on October 4," Ivanov said. Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov, Ukrainian Energy and Coal Minister Yuriy Boiko and Sergei Kiriyenko, head of Russian state nuclear concern Rosatom, will attend the ceremony at the site in the village of Smoline, Kirovohrad region.
