KIEV, Sept. 26 - The Dunapack-Tavria corrugated cardboard packaging plant in Tsiuriupinsk (Kherson region), the building of which was resumed this year by Austrian investor Prinzhorn Holding, is being created to mainly satisfy the demand of global companies like Heinz and Coca-Cola for high-quality packaging, reads a report published in Austria's Wirtschafts Blatt newspaper.
"[The plant is being created] to satisfy the needs of such investors as Heinz and Coca-Cola in the region, and is a chance to remain competitive on the international market," reads the report, referring to Prinzhorn Holding CFO Cord Prinzhorn.
He said that the plant, with a capacity of 120 million square meters of packages per year, would start operating in late October 2012 (earlier it was planned in November), and initially 120 people would work at the plant, with the possibility of expanding the size of workforce in the future.
