
LVIV, Oct. 6 - A new oil refinery will be built in Ukraine near the border with the European Union, according to a memorandum signed Thursday by Naftogaz Ukrayiny, the Lviv government and an investor.
The $3 billion refinery will be built in Brody, the Lviv region, will have 8 million metric ton annual capacity, and will rely on Caspian Sea oil deliveries via Odessa-Brody oil pipeline, officials said.
