YALTA, Sept. 14 - The world has been ruled by countries possessing oil and gas, but in the next decade the leadership will pass to countries with grain and water, according to Ukrainian Economic Development and Trade Minister Petro Poroshenko.

"Ukraine is in a unique position here," he said during the discussion on "The Future and the World Economy" at 9th Yalta Annual Meeting of YES.

Poroshenko said such opportunities give Ukraine a chance to cope with global economic challenges.
