MOSCOW, Sept, 12 - TNK-BP is negotiating the sale of its oil refinery in Ukraine with several contenders, company Executive Director German Khan told journalists.
"We are actively discussing the sale of LINIK with several contenders. We are in the active phase," he said.
Earlier, the Luhansk regional administration said in a press release with reference to its chief Volodymyr Prystiuk that the Lysychansk Oil Refinery (LINIK) will get a new owner by the end of August. It was also reported that two major investors are interested in the acquisition. In particular, negotiations are underway with Ukrainian businessman Dmytro Firtash.
