KIEV, Sept. 6 – Ukraine is 73rd in the competitiveness report of the World Economic Forum, climbing by nine positions.
According to the global competitiveness report for 2012-2013, Ukraine is still behind Kazakhstan and Russia, which are 51st and 67th respectively.
From a list of factors, respondents were asked to select the five most problematic and rank them from 1 (most problematic) to 5.
The most problematic one for Ukraine was access to financing – 15.3%, then corruption – 14%, tax regulations – 13.6%, tax rates – 10.5% and inefficient government bureaucracy – 7.9%.
