KIEV, Sept. 6 – A draft law on amending the law on telecommunications regarding the improvement of the procedure for obtaining information on consumers of telecommunications services and services provided by law-enforcement bodies, and the procedure for buying identification telecommunications cards by consumers, is at the stage of consideration and could be changed, the State Service of Special Communication and Information Protection of Ukraine told Interfax-Ukraine.

The service has drawn up the draft law.

According to an explanatory note to the draft, a procedure will be introduced for providing telecommunications services using identification telecommunications cards (SIM-cards, R-UIM-cards) on the basis of an agreement signed by the telecommunications operators and consumers of telecommunications services under a procedure set by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
