NIKOPOL, Aug. 31 – The government should pay more attention to supporting and developing the ferroalloy sector, Nikopol Ferroalloy Plant (Dnipropetrovsk region) Director General Volodymyr Kutsyn said.
"First of all, the problem concerns electricity tariffs," he told Interfax-Ukraine during a press tour to Nikopol on August 30.
While commenting on the fact that metallurgy enterprises criticize ferroalloy companies for selling their products on the domestic market at prices higher than export ones, the plant's director general said the current prices of ferroalloys in Ukraine do not exceed export prices.
