KIEV, Oct. 5 ??“ Ukrtsukor, the national association of sugar producers, has asked the president and the government to take measures to help regulate the sugar industry.

The association asks them to assist in adoption of the beet and sugar development program, urgently purchase 430,000 tons of sugar for the Agrarian Fund and the state reserve, and allocate relevant funds for a partial refund of commercial credit rates for sugar makers.
