KIEV, Aug. 28 – An undisclosed Russian company has acquired a large stake in a Ukrainian ferroalloy plant and become a co-investor in the renovation of the plant, according to DLA Piper, a legal advisor for the Russian company in the acquisition.
"The transaction provided for establishment of a strategic alliance (joint venture) with the existing shareholders for the purpose of reconstruction and efficient management of the plant's manufacturing facilities," the legal advisor said in a press release.
Financial terms and details of the transaction are confidential.
DLA Piper's legal team provided full legal support to the client in implementation of the transaction.
