KIEV, Aug. 22 - The Energy and Coal Industry Ministry has retained excise duties on gasoline and diesel fuel for the third 10-day period of August at the basic level.

The ministry said that the average price of Brent oil in the previous 10-day period (the second in August) amounted to $114.88 per barrel.

The adjusting sum to the excise duties on fuel is not applied if the average price of oil is within $105-125 per barrel.
