KIEV, Aug. 21 – The Central Election Commission has approved an agreement on the development of a video surveillance system for the October 28 parliamentary elections in Ukraine and instructed CEC Chairman Volodymyr Shapoval to sign it.
Twleve CEC members supported this decision and three members, including Zhanna Usenko-Chorna, Ihor Zhydenko, and Yulia Shvets, refrained from voting. The members that did not vote refused to explain their position.
